# Lainstack

> Freight operations automation for exceptions and system handoffs. Private beta.

Lainstack is an automation framework for freight operations. Authorized customer teams and invited implementation partners can build and change workflows around the systems they already use. A workflow can combine triggers, data, deterministic blocks, bounded AI, configured review, actions, and supported connections. Existing operational systems remain authoritative.

Private-beta access is available with direct onboarding assistance. Public self-service Cloud access and the Community release remain planned.

## Markdown responses

Canonical page URLs support HTTP content negotiation. Send `Accept: text/markdown` to receive build-generated Markdown containing the same authored main content, canonical metadata, and links. Requests that prefer HTML continue to receive the normal prerendered website.

## Product scope

- Authorized workspace users can create and change automation drafts and graphs, add and configure supported blocks and routes, and publish or revert changes within their permissions.
- Supported connection primitives include configured HTTP and SOAP endpoints, S3 object operations, and workspace Reference Tables. Public connector positioning remains vendor-neutral.
- An AI Agent step can be configured with a model, prompt, upstream values, allowed tools, structured output fields, a step ceiling, and an optional per-run cost guard.
- A separate configured review step can retain uploaded evidence, accept and record an explicit decision, and resume the waiting automation.
- A Run record contains narrow structured identity, scope, status, and surfaced step outcomes.
- Replay starts a new Run from supported starting state or upstream outputs. It can repeat external calls.
- Scoped MCP tools expose permission-scoped automation inspection and supported draft or graph create and update operations.
- Managed-cloud and Enterprise self-hosted deployment paths are available by request during the private beta. Community and public self-service access remain planned.
- Operational systems connected to Lainstack remain authoritative.

## Pricing and availability

- Cloud Standard pricing for first customers is USD $999/month plus tax, with 20,000 automation runs/month and up to 5 GB total managed database storage.
- Planned additional Cloud Standard usage is USD $25 per 1,000 automation runs and USD $8 per additional GB of managed database storage.
- Custom development is priced separately.
- Community is planned as a free self-hosted edition released under AGPLv3.
- Enterprise Self-hosted and Cloud Enterprise use contract pricing and are available by request.
- The current public action is a reviewed private-beta early-access request with assisted onboarding.
