You backed a product. Why is every customera project?

Every freight customer brings different systems, data and ways of working. Lainstack gives solution engineers and freight specialists a reusable place to make them fit. Core engineers can stay focused on the product.

A product turns into a customer projectOne continuous line moves from left to right, drawing a tidy product, an implementation knot, a developer at a laptop, and a calendar.

Before we go ahead.

Lainstack is not looking for funding. Our goal is to be customer-funded: to build tools that are innovative where freight work needs new answers, and deliberately boring where operations need reliability.

We would still like to work with investors and their freight portfolio companies in whatever practical capacity is useful.

The Lainstack container stack builds from the ground upOne continuous hand-drawn line enters from the lower left, draws three boxes, climbs to draw two boxes and then one, before continuing towards the right.

Look for the product team that quietly became the implementation team.

The product may be strong and the contracts real. But if every customer needs a different combination of systems, data, rules and approvals, customer delivery can consume the people meant to keep building the product.

    Go-live stalls

Signed customers still wait on custom systems work before they can use the product.

  2. 02

    Engineers get pulled in

Core product engineers end up owning mappings, rules, approvals and exceptions.

  3. 03

    The work starts again

Each new customer creates another private backlog instead of a reusable delivery path.

A reusable delivery layer around the product.

Lainstack gives solution engineers, implementation partners and freight teams a visible place to build and change the customer workflow around supported product actions. Core engineers stay focused; delivery work becomes editable and reusable.

Which portfolio company keeps turning product engineers into implementation engineers?

Send them this page, or introduce us. We’ll look at what happens between signature and go-live, show where Lainstack could make the customer workflow reusable, and say plainly if it does not fit.
